India is one of the largest countries in the world and developing average in Economy, the transportation system is most importance to connect places, India imports the huge amount of Oil and Petroleum Products from including gulf countries. India has some reserves of oils in some places and is not enough to the country. India is one of the Largest Oil Importer in the world, most of the Oil importing from Gulf Countries. In the recent days, the cost of the petrol hike invariably which impacts hugely on transportation rates. Oil Industries are one of the major economy sectors and employed hundreds of thousands of peoples. India had around 125 million metric tons of Oil reserves according to EIA as on 2010, and second largest in Asia Pacific after China. There are many Oil Reserves in India and many of them are located in Mumbai High and some of the Undeveloped reserves in Bay of Bengal and Rajasthan. ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation) is the largest Oil Company in India and it covers over 75% of the India’s oil needs.
